What is a connector?
An MCP connection you add to another service you use, so the TraderSpy AI agent can use that service’s tools in your chats. The functions and data come from the connected service.
Which services can I connect?
A directory offers ready-made connectors for exchanges and market-data providers such as OKX, Bybit, CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, CoinDesk Data and TradingView (TraderSpy is not affiliated with them), and any other MCP server can be added by its URL. Most sign in on the provider’s own page; others take an API key.
How does the AI agent work with my other services?
Through connectors: MCP connections to other services you use, which you add yourself. The agent can then use those services’ tools in your chats, and the functions and data come from the connected service. For each tool you choose "Always allow", "Ask first" or "Off": tools that only read start at "Always allow", and with "Ask first" the agent asks for your approval before every call. On a trading venue TraderSpy has integrated, the agent can also prepare an order on your own account there: it is sent only after you confirm it, the venue carries it out, and you trade at your own risk. Tools that deposit, withdraw or transfer funds are never available through TraderSpy. The credentials you add are stored encrypted. Connectors are part of the paid plans.
Are my connector credentials safe?
The credentials you add are stored encrypted, are never shown to the AI model and are deleted when you remove the connector.
Are connectors included in the free plan?
No. Connectors are part of the paid plans, and how many you can add depends on the plan. On the free plan you can browse the directory.
