What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT securely connect to external tools. TraderSpy runs an MCP server with 18 tools — your assistant reads AI signals, smart-money data, market indicators and your account through one personal URL.
Which AI assistants can I connect?
Claude (web and desktop), Claude Code in the terminal, ChatGPT via developer-mode connectors, and any other MCP-compatible client such as Cursor or your own custom agents.
Can the AI trade without my permission?
No. Live trading is off by default and only you can enable it, protected by your 2FA code. Even then the server enforces hard caps on margin, leverage and order frequency, every order triggers an instant push notification, and the tools instruct the assistant to confirm with you before acting.
Can the AI withdraw my funds?
Never. The connector simply has no withdrawal or transfer tools — moving funds out through MCP is technically impossible, not just forbidden.
Is the connector free?
Yes. Every account gets 5 tool calls per day for free — enough to try everything. Premium raises the limit to 100 calls per day.
